3000 + 10y/3 - 3y = 1500

3000 + 10y - 9y = 1500*3

10y - 9y + 3000 = 4500

y + 3000 = 4500

y = 4500 - 3000

y = 1500.

Putting the value of y in (3) , we get

x = ( 1500 + 5y / 3 )

x = ( 1500 + 5*1500/3 )

x = ( 1500 + 7500/3)

x = ( 9000/3 ) = 3000

x = 3000.

Hence,

x = 3000 and y = 15000
