GIVEN; EQUATIONS

1.........3x-5y-19=0

2.........-7x+3y+1=0

SOLUTION;

BY USING ELIMINATION METHOD FOR EQUATIONS ;

THEN, MULTIPLYING EQUATION (1 )BY 7 AND EQUATION (2) BY 3 ,WE GET ;

=> 7[ 3x-5y-19=0 ] = 21 X - 35 Y - 133 = 0 .......(1)

=> 3[ -7x+3y+1=0 ] = -21 + 9Y + 3 = 0 = 0 ........(2)

BY OPERATING EQUATION (1) ADDED TO EQUATION .(2);

=> 21 X - 35 Y - 133 + (-21) X + 9 Y + 3 = 0

=> 21 X - 21 X -35 Y + 9 Y -133 + 3 = 0

=> 0 + -26 Y - 130 = 0

=> -26 Y = 130

=> Y = 130 / -26

=> Y = 5/-1 = -5

NOW, SUBSTITUTING THE VALUE OF Y = -5 IN EQUATION (2) ,WE GET;

=> 3X -5 ( -5) - 19 = 0

=> 3X + 25 -19 = 0

=> 3X + 6 = 0

=> 3X = -6

=> X = -6 / 3

=> X = -2

SO ,THE VALUE OF X = -2 ,VALUE OF Y = -5 .

THANKS FRIEND, HOPE IT HELPS YOU .
