Answer: The value of x=2 and y=4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

3x+5y=26

5x+3y=22

We have to find the value of x and y

3x+5y=26-----(1)

5x+3y=22-----(2)

multiplying eq(1) by 5 & eq(2) by 3 we get

15x+25y=130

15x+9y=66

=16y=64

y=64/16=4

Hence, we get the value of y=4

Now substitute the value of  y in equation 1,

3x+(5*4)=26

3x+20=26

3x=26-20

3x=6

x=6/3

x=2

Hence, we get the value of x=2
