3x+5y=3 ......(1)

= 3x=3-5y

= x=(3-5y)/3

4x+3y=4....(2)

=4[(3-5y)/3]+3y=4

=(12-20y)/3 +3y=4

=12-20y+9y=12

=12-11y=12

= -11y=12-12

= -11y= 0

= y=0

• x=(3-5y) /3

= x= (3-5×0) /3

= x = 3/3

= x=1
