subtract eq4 from eq3

-29y=-9

y=9/29

put the value of y in eq4

21x-6(9/29)=-12

21x-54=-12.29

21x-54=-348

21x=-348+54

21x=-294

x=-294/21

x=-14

therefore x=14 and y=9/29
