Answer:

3x - 5y - 4 = 0

3x - 5y = 4 ...(1)

9x = 3y + 7

9x - 3y = 7 ...(2)

multiply (1) by 3 and (2) by 1

9x - 15y = 12 ...(3)

9x - 3y = 7 ...(4)

Subtract (4) from (3)

therefore

-12y = 5

y = -5/12

now 9x = 3y + 7

9x = 3(-5/12) + 7

9x = -15/12+ 7

9x = - 15 + 84 / 12

9x = 69/12

x = 69/108

Hence x = 69/108 and y = -5/12

Answer:- x=27/39 & y=-5/13

Step-by-step explanation:

3x-5y-4=0——(1)   a1=3, b1=(-5), c1=(-4).

9x-2y-7=0——(2)  a2=9, b2=(-2), c2=(-7).

Multiplying equation (1) with 3 and equation (2) with 1

So it comes....

(1)—9x-15y-12=0

(2)—9x-2y-7=0

By subtracting  equation (3) &(4)

we get,

         -13y-5

     =>y=-5/13   Ans.

Now putting this value in eqation (1).

We get,

3x-5y-4=0

3x-5(-5/13)-4=0

3x+25/13-4=0

3x=4-25/13

3x=(52-25)/13

3x=27/13

x=27/(13×3)

x=27/39    Ans.

Thus the value of x =27/39 & y=-5/13

  Hope it's helpful.
