=> 3x + 5y = 4

=> 3x = 4 - 5y

=> x = 4 - 5y / 3 -----(1)

=> 2x + 3y = 4 ------(2)

Substitute equation (1) in (2) ,,,,

=> 2x + 3y = 4

=> 2 ( 4 - 5y / 3 ) + 3y = 4

=> 8 - 10y / 3 + 3y = 4

=> -10y / 3 + 3y = 4 - 8

=> -10y + 9y / 3 = -4

=> -y / 3 = -4

=> -y = -4 × 3

=> -y = -21 ( by cross multiplying )

=> y = 21

Substitute y = 21 in equation (1)

=> x = 4 - 5y / 3

=> x = 4 - 5 × 21 / 3

=> x = 4 - 105 / 3

=> x = 101 / 3
