3x+6y=1/9;-------------1
2x+8y=1/12------------2
multiply 1st with 2 and 2nd with 3
therefore:-
6x+12y=2/9-----3
6x+24y=3/12---------4
 change the signs of the 3rd step
therefore
-6x-12y=-2/9
now adding 3rd and 4th step.....
12y=3/12-2/9
L.C.M=>36
12y=9/36-8/36
=>y=1/36 *12
=>y=1/432
therefore
x=0.035

3x+6y=1/9
⇒27x+54y=1 ⇒216x+432y=8

2x+8y=1/12⇒
⇒24x+96y=1 ⇒216x+864y=9
Subtracting 432y=1 ⇒ y=1/432
substituting value of y  3x+6/432=1/9
                                 ⇒x=7/216
