 \dfrac{3x+ 7}{2}  - \dfrac{4x + 11}{3}  = 5

Make Equivalent Fractions:

 \dfrac{3(3x+ 7)}{3(2)}  - \dfrac{2(4x + 11)}{2(3)}  = 5

 \dfrac{9x+21}{6} - \dfrac{8x + 22}6} = 5

Make Single Fraction:

 \dfrac{(9x + 21) - (8x + 22)}{6}  = 5

 \dfrac{9x + 21 - 8x - 22}{6}  = 5

 \dfrac{x - 1}{6}  = 5

Cross multiply:

 x - 1 = 30

Add 1 to both sides:

 x = 31

Answer: x = 31
