3x-7y+10=0 and y-2x-3=0
3x-7y=-10 and y-2x=3
3x-7y= -10 and y=3+2x
putting value of y in equation 1
3x-7(3+2x)=-10
3x-21-14x=-10
-(21+11x)= -10
11x +21 = 10
11x= -11
x=-1
So the value of x is -1 and the value of y is
=3+2(-1)
=3-2
=1

ELIMINATION METHOD
let, the
3x-7y+10=0........(1)
y-2x-3=0.......(2)
multiply equation 1with 2 then,
eq'n1=6x-14y+20=0…...…(3)
eq'n2=-6x+3y-9=0………(4)
after simplification,
-11y-11=0
-11(y+1)=0
y+1=11
y=12
after substitution , you get the value of x as4.5
