Answer:

=> √3x - x = 1

=> x(√3 - 1) = 1

=> x = 1 /(√3 - 1)

=> x = 1 /(√3 - 1) × (√3 + 1) /(√3 + 1)

=> x = (√3 + 1) /(√3)² - (1)²

=> x = (√3 + 1) / 3 - 1

=> x = (3 + 1) /2

\leadsto\bf \sqrt{3x - x = 1}

\leadsto\bf x( \sqrt{3 - 1) = 1}

\leadsto\bf x =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3 - 1} }

\leadsto\bf x =   \frac{1}{( \sqrt{3 - 1} )}  \times \frac{ (\sqrt{3 + 1)} }{( \sqrt{3 + 1)} }

\leadsto\bf x =  \frac{( \sqrt{3 + 1}) }{(3) {}^{2} - (1) {}^{2}  }

\leadsto\bf x =   \frac{( \sqrt{3 + 1} }{ \sqrt{3 - 1} }

\leadsto\bf x =  \frac{(3 \sqrt{3 + 1}) }{2}
