3x+y=1 , 2x-11y=3 solve simultaneous equations by eliminating one variable

3x+y = 1 -------(1)

2x-11y = 3 ------(2)

(1) × 11 => 33x+11y = 11 ------(3)

(3)+(2) => 2x-11y+33x+11y = 11+3

35x = 14

x = 14/35 = 2/5

y = 1-3x = 1-6/5 = -1/5
