EXPLANATION

equation are given

3x - y = -1 ....(1)

2x - y = -2 ...(2)

TO FIND VALUE OF X AND Y.

substitute equation (2) we get,

2x + 2 = y....(3)

put equation (3) in equation (1)

we get,

3x - ( 2x + 2 ) = -1

3x - 2x - 2 = -1

x - 2 = -1

x = -1 +2

x = 1

put x = 1 in equation (3)

we get,

2x + 2 = y

2(1) + 2 = y

2 + 2 = y

y = 4

Therefore, value of x = 1 and y = 4
