Answer:

\bold\purple{{3x - y = 2}}

\bold\purple{{y = 3x - 2}}

\green{Now, \: x + 2y = 3}

\green{x + 2(3x - 2) = 3}

\green{x + 6x - 4 = 3}

\green{7x = 3 + 4}

\green{7x = 7}

\green{x =  \frac{7}{7}}

\green{x = 1}

\blue{y = 3x - 2}

\blue{y = 3(1) - 2}

\blue{y = 3 - 2}

\blue{y = 1}

\red{So, \: x = 1 \: and \: y = 1.}
