Hii..dude..♥️

3 x- y = 2 ---(1)

x - 2y = - 1 ----(2)

From equation (2)

x - 2y = - 1

=> x = - 1 + 2y ----(3)

Substituting this value of x in equation (1)

3 x- y = 2

=> 3 ( - 1 + 2 y ) - y = 2

=> - 3 + 6 y - y = 2

=> - 3 + 5 y = 2

=> 5 y = 2 + 3

=> 5 y = 5

=> y = 5/5

=> y = 1

Now putting the value of y in equation (3)

x = - 1 + 2y

=> x = - 1 + 2×1

=> x = - 1 + 2

=> x = 1

Therefore the values of x and y are 1 and 1 .

hope this helps...✨✨

Answer:

Here's your answer

By SUBSTITUTION method....

3x-y= 2

x =  \frac{2 + y}{3}

...... ....... eq (1)

By substituting equation (1) in the following equation...

x-2y=-1

 \frac{2 + y}{3}  - 2y =  - 1 \\  \\  \frac{2 + y - 6y}{3}  =  - 1 \\  \\ 2 - 5y =  - 3 \\  \\  - 5y =  - 5 \\  \\ y = 1

For x...

Putting value of y in equation (1)

x =  \frac{2 + 1}{3}  =  \frac{3}{3}  = 1

SO x is also 1

Therefore the value of x and y is 1

Hope it helps ...
