   3x - y = 3 -----(1)

 3x - 2y = -6 -----(2)

from eq.(1) -

 3x = (y + 3)

From eq.(1) - eq.(2) -

 (-y + 2y) = (3 + 6)

 y = 9

then ,

 3x = 12

  x = 4
