Step-by-step explanation:

above eqn can be written as

3x-y=5 ....(1)

5x-5y=11 ....(2)

multiplying by 5 in eqn (1) we get

15x-5y=25

5x-5y=11

after subtracting we get

10x=14

:::x=7/5

after putting the value of x in eqn (2) we get

7-5y=11

5y= -4

y= -4/5
