Given equations are ,

3x=y+7 --------(1)

and. 2x+y+2=0. --------(2)

Now ,. from equation no.(1). ,

y = 3x-7 ---------(3)

Putting the value of y in the equation no. (2)

2x + 3x-7 +2 = 0

=> 5x-5 =0

=> 5x = 5

=> X = 5/5

=> X = 1

so, value of X is 1

now putting the value of X in equation no.(3) ,

y= 3×1 -7

=> y = 3-7

=> y = -4.

so, value of y is -4 .

\bold{\boxed{X=1\: and \:y=-4}}
