3x²+11x+10 = 0

On comparing to the equation : ax²+bx+c = 0

Here, a = 3, b = 11 and c = 10

From Shridharacharya Formula :

$x = \frac{ - b \binom{ + }{ - } \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a} \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ - 11 \binom{ + }{ - } \sqrt{121 - 4 \times 3 \times 10} }{2 \times 3} \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ - 11 \binom{ + }{ - } \sqrt{121 - 120} }{6} \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ - 11 \binom{ + }{ - }1 }{6}$

On taking (+) sign :

$x = \frac{ - 11 + 1}{6} \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ - 10}{6} = \frac{ - 5}{3}$

On taking (-) sign :

$x = \frac{ - 11 - 1}{6} \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ - 12}{6} = - 2$

Required values of x : -5/3 and -2
