Given ,

The quadratic equation is

  • √3x² - 2√2x - 2√3=0

By middle term splitting method or prime factorisation method , we get

√3x² - 2√2x - 2√3=0

✓3x² - 3✓2x + ✓2x - 2✓3 = 0

✓3x(x - ✓2✓3) + ✓2(x - ✓2✓3) = 0

(✓3x + ✓2)(x - ✓2✓3) = 0

Thus ,

x = -✓2/✓3 or x = ✓2✓3 = ✓6

Hence , the roots of given quadratic equation are -✓2/✓3 or ✓6
