Answer:

 {3x}^{2}  + 4x + 1 = 0

 {3x}^{2}  + 3x + 1x + 1 = 0

3x(x + 1) + 1(x + 1) = 0

(3x + 1)(x + 1) = 0

3x + 1 = 0

x =   \frac{ - 1}{3}

or

 x + 1 = 0

x =  - 1

x =  \frac{ - 1}{3} (or)x =  - 1

\huge\underline{Answer:-}

\bf{Either \:x  = -1 or \:x = -1/3}

\huge\bold{Given:-}

\bf{3x² + 4x + 1 = 0}

\bf{Now  , doing  \:middle \:term , we   \:get}

\bf{3x² + ( 3 + 1 ) x + 1 = 0}

\bf{3x² + 3x + x +1 = 0}

\bf{3x ( x + 1 ) + 1 ( x + 1 ) = 0}

\bf{( x + 1 ) ( 3x + 1) = 0}

\bf{Either,}

\bf{( x + 1 ) = 0}

\bf{x = -1}

\bf{Or,}

\bf{( 3x + 1) = 0}

\bf{3x = -1}

\bf{x = -1/3}
