given equation is
3x²-5x+2=0
x²-5/3x=-2/3 -----(1)
take (1/2×coefficient of x²)
=>(1/2×-5/3)²
=>(-5/6)²
=>25/36
adding 25/36 on both side of equation (1)
=>x²-5/3x+25/36=-2/3+25/36
=>(x-5/3)²=1/36
taking √ both side
x-5/3=+- 1/6
x=+-1/6+5/3
x= +-1+10/6
x=1+10/6 or =-1+10/6
x= 11/6 or x=3/2
hope it helps....
