Compare 3x² - 5x + 7 = 0 with

ax² + bx + c = 0 , we get

a = 3 , b = -5 , c = 7

Discreaminant ( D ) = b² - 4ac

D = ( -5 )² - 4 × 3 × 7

D = 25 - 84

D = - 59

D < 0

Therefore ,

Roots of given quadratic equation

are not real.
