Given that

= [(4×2)+1]/2

= (8+1)/2

= 9/2 litres

If the milk is poured equal quantity in each glass then the quantity of the milk in each glass

= The total quantity of milk / Number of glasses

= (9/2)/18

= 9/(2×18)

= 9/36

= 1/4 litres

We know that
