Given:

  • 4(1-n)-3(n-2) = 24

To do:

  • Find value of given expression.
  • Verify answer

Finding value of expression:

4(1-n)-3(n-2) = 24

=> 4 - 4n -3n + 6 = 24

=> 4 + 6 - 4n - 3n = 24

=> 10 - 7n = 24

=> -7n = 24 - 10

=> -7n = 14

=> n = \large{\tt{\frac{14}{-7}}}

=> n = -2

\large{\boxed{\boxed{\tt{\pink{ ∴\: n \: =\: -2 }}}}}

Verification of answer:

To verify our answer, we have to put value of n (i.e -2)in the expression.

Putting value of n in expression:

4(1-n)-3(n-2) = 24 { where n = -2}

=> 4{1-(-2)}-3(-2-2) = 24

=> 4 + 8 + 6 + 6 = 24

=> 12 + 12 = 24

=> 24 = 24
