We know , repeated addition is multiplication...
(4-1)/n + (4-1)/n + .... n terms = (4-1)/n * n = 4-1 = 3 Alternate : if (4-1) is not a single term (4-1/n)n = 4n-1

mysticd: Plz , check again ,it is wrong

Hi ,

( 4 - 1/n ) + ( 4 - 1/n ) + .....+ n terms

= n ( 4 - 1/n )

= 4n - n/n

= 4n - 1

I hope this helps you.
