Always starts this type of questions by taking differences between the terms as-

24–4=20,

48–24=24,

80–48=32,

Can you find something? Lets see difference as-

20= 5*4= (5)*4

24= 6*4= (5+1)*4

32= 8*4= (5+3)*4

Here we can see, ‘odd no. series 1,3,5,7…’ in addition with 5, so next difference should be-

(5+5)*4= 10*4= 40,

And next term should be-

120 as 120–80=40,

And after that next difference should be-

And next term should be
