(2x - 1) log4 + (x - 1) log16 = 2 log16
(2x - 1)2 log2 + (x - 1)4 log2 = 8 log2
taking log2 common
log2(4x - 2 + 4x - 4) =8 log2
8x - 6 = 8
8x = 14
x = 7/4
