{\bf{\underline{\underline{Answer}}}}

4(2x - 3) - 14 = 5(3x - 4)

LHS:

8x - 12 - 14  \\ 8x - 26

RHS:

15x - 12

now solving both:

8x - 26 = 15x - 12 \\  - 7x = 14 \\ x =  - 2

Well, we will not fear of numbers anymore. We will play with numbers now. Forget all fear in lower classes. It is the only time to have fun with all subjects.

Now, let us proceed our solution. After seeing the solution i am sure, your expression will be like, "Why I didn't solve this question myself ?"

Are you ready to solve ?

Let's start.

4 (2x - 3) - 14 = -5 (3x - 4)

Or, 8x-12-14 = 20-15x

Or, 23x-26-20 = 0

Or, 23x-46 = 0

Or, 23x = 46

Or, x = 46/23 = 2 [Ans.]

Can you now feel how much easy it was?

Well, no problem, solve all questions by yourself first. At the beginning consider examples too.
