Let ( 2x - 3 ) = y

4y² - y - 14
4y² - 8y + 7y - 14
4y ( y - 2 ) + 7 ( y - 2 )
( 4y + 7 )( y - 2 )

Now,

[ 4 ( 2x - 3 ) + 7 ][ ( 2x - 3 ) - 2 ]
( 8x - 12 + 7 )( 2x - 3 - 2 )
( 8x - 5 )( 2x - 5 )

Given expression,
   4(2x-3)²-(2x-3)-14
   Let (2x-3) be a,
   Therefore the given expression becomes,
  4a²-a-14
   Now factorize by grouping methord
 = 4a²-8a+7a-14
 = 4a(a-2)+7(a-2)
 taking comman (a-2),
  = (a-2)[(4a)+(7)]
  = (a-2)(4a+7)
  = [(2x-3)-2][4(2x-3)+7)]                               [ Since, 2x-3=a ]
  = (2x-3-2)(8x-12+7)
  = (2x-5)(8x-5)
                                 (Solved)
