Step-by-step explanation:

I) old mean = sum of observations/ no.of observation

= 4+3+4+0+2+2+5+2+1+3/10

=25/10=2.5

ii) old mode = 2

iii) old median = 0,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,4,5 (ascending )

median when no. of terms are even = n+m/2

n= 2 m= 3

2+3/2 = 2.5

NOW NEW DATA AT END OF YEAR

4,3,4,2,2,2,5,2,5,3

II) new mean = 35/10

= 3.5

ii) new mode = 2

iii) new median = 2,2,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5

n= 3, m= 3

3+3/2

=3

therfore ,

old mean=2.5,old mode=2, old median=2.5

new mean=3.5,new mode=2,new median= 3
