Solution:

The cards were, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17..., 37, 38, 39, 40

Cards with 1 on unit's digit are 11, 21 and 31

Cards with 0 on unit's digit are 20, 30 and 40

Now we can see that there are six numbers with 1 or 0 in their unit's digit from 11 to 40.

Therefore,

i) Juthika answered correctly.

ii) The numbers were 11, 21, 31, 20, 30 and 40.
