Answer:

4(3x + 1) = 4(x - 2) + 6 \\ 12x + 4 = 4x - 8 + 6 \\ 12x - 4x =  - 8 - 4 + 6 \\ 8x =  -  6 \\ x =  \frac{ - 6}{8}  =  \frac{ - 3}{4}

Given :-

4(3x + 1) = 4(x - 2) + 6

To :-

Simplify it

Solution :-

4(3x + 1) = 4(x - 2) + 6

⟶ 12x + 4 = 4x - 8 + 6

⟶ 12x - 4x = - 8 + 6 - 4

⟶ 8x = - 6

⟶ x = - 6/8

⟶ x = - 3/4

Procedure :-

→ This question is from the linear equation.

→ In this question we can see that there are 2 constants before the bracket, we will multiply it with the constants and variable which are inside the brackets, and then we will write their products.

→ Then we will put like terms on one side and and unlike terms on other side of equal to.

→ As you can see I have written +6 as -6 why? because whenever we transpose any constant in other side it's sign changes.

→ Then in the final answer we will make a fraction, if it will get cancelled out then we will and the final answer is -3/4
