Answer:

(x,y)=(39/6,1/3)

Step-by-step explanation:

3x+2y=5

multiply by 3 on b.s

9x+6y=15....eq1

2x-3y=12

multiply by 2 on b.s

4x-6y=24....eq2

eq1+eq2

6x=39

x=39/6

y=1/3 since by substituting in eq 1

Answer:

3x+2y=5 ....1

2x-3y=12.....2

Adding 1 and 2 we get

5x-1y=17.......3

Subtracting 1 and 2 we get

1x+5y= -7.......4

Now from 3

y=5x-17( put this in 4)

we get

x+ 25x - 85= -7

26x= 7

x=3

Put x=3 in 4 we get

5y= -10

y= -2
