hey mate:
given here
4(3y + 2) - 5(6y - 1) = 2(y - 8) - 6(7y - 4) + 4y
so,
=>(12y-30y)+(8+5)=(2y-42y+4y)+(24-16)
=>(-18y)+(13)=(-36y)+(8)
=>(-18+36)y=(8-13)
=>2y=(-5)
=>y=(-5/2)

If you like my answer then please mark it as brainliest!!
Step-by-step explanation:
= 12y+8-30y+5 = 2y-16-42y+24+4y
= -18y+13 = -40y+8+4y
= -18y+13 = -36y+8
= -18y+36y = 8-13
= 18y = -5
= -5/18
Therefore: answer is -5/18
