Answers
The rate of evaporation is affected by the following factors:
•Temperature: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in temperature.
•Surface area: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in surface area.
•Humidity: The amount of water vapour present in the air is called humidity.
Answer:
1. factors that affect evaporation:
- Temperature
- Surface area of the liquid exposed to the atmosphere.
- Wind speed and.
- Humidity.
2. There is no rise of temperature because the heat provided is utilized in increasing the potential energy between the molecules i.e. increasing the interspacing between the molecules. Every substance requires some amount of "extra" or better say "hidden heat" to change its state.
3. to cool my milk which is in my cup I used to rub the cup on my lap. it gets to the warmth I exactly needed to drink
hope it helps
