-4=4(x-4)+12 find the value of x

-4 = 4(x-4)+12........(open the bracket)

-4 = 4x-16+12.........(-16+12 = -4)

-4 = 4x-4

-4+4 = 4x.............(shift -4 to the other side and it will become +4)

0 = 4x..............(-4+4=0)

0/4 = x

∴x = 0
