   - mode of nutrition 
   - make his own food 
   -  make his food by absorption of light energy

   - chlorophyll are present 
   - it takes carbon dioxide and it converts into water and convert these into carbohydrates . 
    e.g. plants , cyanobacteria , etc
heterotrophs -
   - mode of nutrition 
   - didn't make his own food 
   - it doesn't use light energy 
   - un-synthesized
   - chlorophyll are absent 
   - it takes oxygen 
   - it feeds on dead and decaying matter , it takes solid food and break it down and it also derives nutrition from a host (  plants  ) .
 e.g. amoeba , human , etc
