Nutritional Value comprises a series of estimate of the contribution of the food to the nutrient content and energy level of the diet.

It usually includes the information on energy in calories.

It also include information on fats, carbohydrates, sugars, proteins and salts.

The information on minerals is usually indicated in milligrams (mg).

All nutrition information, provided by the nutritional value, is defined per 100 grams and sometimes per portion of the food.

To grow up and stay healthy, it is important to eat foods with good (high) nutritional values. It is important to eat a variety of foods, such as fruits, vegetables, dairy products, pluses, and grains.
