Given Equation:-

  • \sf{4(5x - 3) = 8}

To find:-

  • Value of x.

Solution:-

  • According to bodmas firstly, we have to multiply 5 and 3 from 4. After that we have to transport 12 to R.H.S. And then we have to add 12 from 8. After that we have to divide 20 by 20. And then we got the value of x.

Let's do it:-

\tt\longmapsto{4(5x - 3) = 8}

\tt\longmapsto{20x - 12 = 8}

\tt\longmapsto{20x = 8 + 12}

\tt\longmapsto{20x = 20}

\tt\longmapsto{x = \dfrac{20}{20}}

\tt\longmapsto{\boxed{\red{x = 1}}}

Hence,

  • the Value of x is 1.

Answer:

Given Equation:-

\sf{4(5x - 3) = 8}4(5x−3)=8

To find:-

Value of x.

Solution:-

According to bodmas firstly, we have to multiply 5 and 3 from 4. After that we have to transport 12 to R.H.S. And then we have to subtract 12 from 8. After that we have to divide 20 by 20. And then we got the value of x.

Let's do it:-

\tt\longmapsto{4(5x - 3) = 8}⟼4(5x−3)=8

\tt\longmapsto{20x - 12 = 8}⟼20x−12=8

\tt\longmapsto{20x = 8 + 12}⟼20x=8+12

\tt\longmapsto{20x = 20}⟼20x=20

\tt\longmapsto{x = \dfrac{20}{20}}⟼x=

20

20

\tt\longmapsto{\boxed{\red{x = 1}}}⟼

x=1

Hence,

the Value of x is -5.
