Step-by-step explanation:

First The operation we are going to perform is Addition of both numbers 4/6 And 4/6.

If you notice That the numbers 4/6 And 4/6 Have same denominators, So they are like Fraction. For solving that Addition, We should Add Only the numerators.

Numerators: Upper part of the fraction

Denominators: Lower part of the fraction

So, Here the operation of Addition will be

   \frac{4 + 4}{6}  =  \frac{8}{6}

Next we should Do Subtraction, So we Should subtract 8/6 - 3/12 .

Now we are going to do the operation with Cross multiplication method.

If we do that the Operation Will be :

\frac{(8×12)−(3×6)}{6 \times 12}  =  \frac{96 - 18}{72}  =  \frac{78}{72}

Now we can able to convert 78/72 to short form , So the short form :

 \frac{13}{12}
