 \frac{4}{6}  +  \frac{5}{3}

we make them like

lcm - 6

4/6 remain same

 \frac{5 \times 2}{3 \times 2}  =  \frac{10}{6}

lets add

 \frac{4}{6}  +  \frac{10}{6} =  \frac{4 + 10}{6}  =  \frac{14}{6}  =  \frac{7}{3}  = 2 \frac{1}{3}
