4/7 of the pole is in mud. When 1/3 is pulled out an 8m long piece of pole still remains in mud. what is the total length of the pole. It should have all the steps to be called the brainliest answer.

If 1/3 of (4/7) already buried part is taken out.

2/3 of 4/7 remains inside mud

2/3 of 4/7 is 8/21 of original length which is still buried inside.

So length remaining inside is 8m .

So total length =8*21/8

=21m

Hence total length of pole is 21 meter
