in the first case a balloon is pressed from both sides, due to intense in pressure the balloon will blast. if we leave this if the force in the two directions are same then the balloon will remain in it's position and it will move in the direction one which side it is getting more force this case if the two applied forces are of different magnitude.
in the second case the ball is getting more force from the batsman. so it will move in the direction he hits the ball. and we have to remember that the bowler also exerted some force on the ball it will move in opposite direction only if the force of the batdman is higher than the bowler if not the batsman get injuries and he is out.
