As we know that,

a}. v = u + gt

=> u = v + gt

=> u = 0 + 10 x 4

=> u = 40 ms-¹

Again,

b}. v²-u² = 2gh

=> 0² - (40)² = 2 x (-10) x h

=> -1600 = -20h

=> h = -1600/-20

=> h = 80 m
