Answer:

Given,

Measure of Block of Wood[Cuboid] = 75cm × 50cm × 40cm

Side of cube = 0.1m i.e

As 1m = 100cm

0.1m = 0.1 × 100cm

= 10cm

Side of cube = 10cm

To Find :-

Number of such cubes.

Solution :-

As they said We need to find Number of such Cubes carved from the block of wood :-

\sf\implies Volume of Wood = number of cubes× Volume of Cube

i.e

Length×Breadth×Height = (Side)³

Let,

Length be 'l'

Breadth be 'b'

Height be 'h'

Number of Cubes be 'n'

Side of the Cube be 's'

i.e

l × b × h = n × s³

Given,

l = 75cm

b = 50cm

h = 40cm

s = 10cm

\sf\implies 75cm × 50cm × 40cm = n × (10cm)³

150000cm³ = n × 1000cm³

n = \sf\frac{150000cm³}{1000cm³}

n = 150

\sf\therefore Number of Such Cubes formed(n) = 150
