For this, we first need to find the area of the Carpet.

So here we go!

  • Given length of the carpet=  30m and 75cm       [100cm= 1m}

                                   so length = 30.75m

  • Given Breadth of the carpet=   80cm           [100cm=1cm]

                                   so breadth= 0.8m

  • Area of the carpet= 30.75m x 0.8m

                                      = 24.6m^2

  • Cost of 1m^2 of carpet= Rs. 150
  • Therefore, the cost of 24.6m^2 of carpet will be =   24.6m^2 x  150

                                                                              = Rs. 3690 .

Hope you found this useful!!

THANK YOU!
