Given :

  • m = 70g
  • g = 0.070 kg
  • u = 0.5 m/s
  • v = 0
  • t = 0.5s

Find :

  • The force applied by the player to stop the ball ?

Solution :

We Know - :

  • Force, f = m (v - u/ t)

→ F = 0.070 (0 - 0.5 / 0.5)

→ F = - 0.07 N

  • Hence, The force applied by the player to stop the ball is - 0.07 N.
