answer:157 29/223

Step-by-step explanation:

formula for taking out average speed is total distance / total time

time he took to travel 900 km at the rate of 80kmph=900/80= 90/8 hours

Next, time he took to travel 2000 km at the rate of 300kmph= 2000/300 =20/3 hours

Finally, time he took to travel 20 km at the rate of 30kmph=2/3h

total distance he covered = 900+2000+20km = 2920km

Total time he took = 90/8+20/3+2/3 which is same as 270/24+160/24+16/24= 270+160+16/24= 446/24

Average speed for the total journey = 2920*24/446=35040/223 = 157 29/223
