Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangular park=500m×300m=150000

five square flower size=50m

then =50×50=2500

=5×2500=12500

remaining=150000-12500

=137500

  • remaining area = 137500 m².

{\underline{\underline{\sf{\green{Explaination:-}}}}}

According to the question,

  • Dimensions of the park is 500 by 300 m.
  • Side of 5 flower beds dug in the park is 50m.

Asked to find the area of remaining area.

So, first we will find the Area of rectangular park.

Where,

  • Length = 500 m
  • Breadth = 300 m

Formula using here,

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf\green{:\rightarrow\;\;area\;=\;\bf{{length  \times breadth}\:}}\end{gathered}

Putting the Values,

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf{:\rightarrow\;\;area\;=\;\bf{{500  \times 300}\:}}\end{gathered}

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf{:\rightarrow\;\;area\;=\;\bf{{150000 {m}^{2} }\:}}\end{gathered}

Now,

It is given that, The square flower beds is of side 50m are dug in the park, so area occupied by 5 flower bed are,

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf\green{:\rightarrow\;\;area\;=\;\bf{{5(side^{2}) }\:}}\end{gathered}

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf{:\rightarrow\;\;area\;=\;\bf{{5 \: (50^{2}) }\:}}\end{gathered}

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf{:\rightarrow\;\;area\;=\;\bf{{5  \times 2500 }\:}}\end{gathered}

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf{:\rightarrow\;\;area\;=\;\bf{{12500m^{2} }\:}}\end{gathered}

Now,

  • finding remaining area,

Remaining area = Area of rectangular park – Area of 5 flower beds.

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf{:\rightarrow\;required\;area\;=\;\bf{{150000 - 12500  }\:}}\end{gathered}

\begin{gathered}\\\;\sf{:\rightarrow\;required\;area\;=\;\bf{{137500 {m}^{2}  }\:}}\end{gathered}
